Voice AI for websites and online stores
Talk to the site.
A voice agent that answers a visitor's questions, finds out what they need, and sends the details to the business. No forms, no phone tree.
Live agent
Ask it anything about the work.
Click to talk
The demo is my own sales assistant. It answers questions about my services and background, then asks for your name and how to reach you so I can follow up.
Things to try
- “What services do you offer?”
- “Have you built voice agents for online stores?”
- “What is your tech stack?”
- “I run a Shopify store. Can you build one for me?”
The live demo covers questions and lead capture. Order tracking, product search and store integrations are what I build for clients.
How it works
From a spoken question to a saved lead.
- 01
Visitor speaks
A mic button on the page starts the call. The widget is one script tag, so it works on React, Astro, WordPress and Shopify themes.
- 02
Vapi handles the call
Speech recognition, the language model and the voice run on Vapi. The visitor hears a reply in real time.
- 03
Agent calls a tool
Once it has a name, the need and contact details, the agent calls a tool. The webhook checks a shared secret and validates the payload.
- 04
Lead saved and sent
The lead goes to Airtable, tagged with the site it came from, and a summary is emailed to the business.
Integrations
What it connects to.
In this demo

Stack and decisions
Plain tools, chosen on purpose.
- Next.js 16
- App Router, one app for the page, the API and the widget bundle
- React 19 and TypeScript
- Strict types, Zod on the webhook boundary
- Tailwind CSS 4
- Design tokens in CSS, one theme preset per site
- Vapi Web SDK
- Loaded only when the visitor clicks the mic
- Airtable and Resend
- Leads and email, each behind a small client
- Vercel
- Deploys from main
- One embeddable script instead of a React-only package, so sites without React can use it.
- The widget lives in a Shadow DOM, so a host site's CSS cannot break it.
- The public key is visible in any browser, so abuse is limited by a domain allow-list, a call length cap and a billing alert.
- A failed Airtable or email call is logged, and the voice reply still goes out.
